Like others, my son lived in the Annex for just over a year. Some things to consider before you sign a lease~ Moving in: 1. We signed a sublet lease - DO NOT DO THIS. We were told there were NO apartments available BUT they had a sublet we could take. Come to find out there WERE available apartments. By taking a sublet, you finish a lease contract for someone wanting to move out early, then your lease starts for a year to year. We moved in and the apartment was a mess. My daughter lived at the Annex for 1.5 years. She moved out this May. I (her mother) personally cleaned her apartment from top to bottom. When we checked out, the apartment was in good condition. Nothing beyond normal wear and tear. The carpets were clean and the walls were in good condition. Her and her roommate received a bill yesterday indicating that the Annex would be keeping both of the $150 deposit, as well as, asking both girls to submit an additional $105 dollars for "Full paint" and "Carpet Cleaning", so basi... read more
need to retract the negative review we placed before and give them 5 stars, we are the contractor that they finally ended up paying, so, we are trying to remove our negative review since they asked us to since they paid us....
yes, agreed.. and they arent paying us for work we did there, the landscaping firm they hired to mow, landscape, and do snow removal, we also have to clean up TONS of poop there and not get paid...we were even sharing their posts and partnering with them to help get renters,, wow, shame on us....they kicked us to the curb in middle of a contract and never paid the $7,000.00 they still owe us....it's your own fault if you get taken advantage of by renting or working here as YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED!
