Good Vet; Not So Good Techs I've had two experiences with this business, and the first was helpful and pleasant, although I was a bit bothered to see the request for my social security number and bank account information on the initial paperwork. I did not include it, and the receptionist did not ask me to fill in the blanks when I omitted them. She was a very friendly, very kind lady. Reasonable and helpful I have a large, LARGE young dog who is still very impressionable. She's great, but having had some ear infections a little skiddish at times. Dr. Boyd has always been kind to her and takes his time with her. His staff is wonderful even when having to draw blood on my scaredy pup, who has a tendancy to pull her paw at the last second. Dr. Boyd is WONDERFUL!!! I used to go to House Springs Animal Clinic but thought the Doc was pompous. I tried Cedar Hill Animal Clinic and I just LOVE Dr. Boyd. He is wonderful and very informative. He and his staff are always sweet and accomidating. I will not take my pets anywhere else. We have been going there for 5 years and they are the BEST!
Very Pleased I have taken all my pets to the Animal Clinic of Cedar Hill for 18 years. They have treated 2 of our dogs and 9 cats over the years and I have always been pleased with the way my pets have been cared for. One dog lived to be 16 thanks to their medical care. I also have an 18 year old cat that is currently under their treatment and she is doing well. I would not consider taking my pets anywhere else and would recommend the Animal Clinic to anyone. Not a happy visit I took my dog to this vet and felt that there wasn't enough time spent to diagnose the illness and costly treatment. The vet didn't easily relate to my dog's personality and automatically muzzled my small mixed breed. Not the best visit
No way would I go back! My German Shepard/Lab was sick. I took him to this vet & was told he could have rabies. The only way to tell is to send the beheaded dog into the state so they can test it. I was told 2 wait 2 weeks & would be notified. I had to put my dog to sleep & recieved NO NOTIFICATION as to whether or not my dog had rabies. To top it off, I was sent a bill for over $400. I will not go back or recommend that vet to ANYONE.
