CHEATERS!! worst people to work with. They increase the rates just before closing and you will be left with no choice. They never respond to calls. I went with them just because its preferred lender for my builder. Stay away from them.

Terrible company! Shady practices. I was recommended to American Mortgage by my realtor. I had an awful experience working with this mortgage company. They lied about the rate and tried to pressure me into signing documents to lock in a high rate. When I didn't sign the paperwork, they claimed that the rates dropped unexpectedly and I had to hurry and sign the paperwork. Again another lie. They are extremely unprofessional. Would not return phone calls and was hardly ever in the office.

*****SHADY BUSINESS***** I honestly don't even think this company deserves 1 star. What a joke. They do not answer the phone when you call.. Rarely respond to emails, and when they do, the answers are extremely vague. Very unprofessional.. Even called upper management to try and get answers from them and they won't even return my phone call. Awful. After giving them all of the necessary documents to go forward all we received was a letter with our credit scores. We called many times and no one was ever in the office to talk with us. We were told many times we'd be called back and never were. This was back in October 2016 and still have not been able to contact anyone. No letters. No phone calls. No emails. I recommend looking elsewhere.
