At first I was skeptical! This hotel is in a sketchy neighborhood but it is on the corner, gated and the hotel owns the restaurants right next door, there is security, and by day 3 I felt like VIP because of the hotel Manager (Robin). She made up for any worries I had. We stayed 3 nights and we were upgraded to a suite for free. We were there for a concert and she saved us hundreds of dollars in transportation by shuttling everyone who was staying there and going to the concert, back and forth to the concert (2 nights) herse... read more
The receptionist, Martha, was exceptionally nice and very willing to help me get to where I needed to go, since it was my first time in Chicago. The room was very spacious and the bathroom was large as well.
Room were clean and big. Including a fridge. The location was perfect to go to downtown Chicago. The subway takes you there in 10 minutes!
We stayed for 3 nights during our first trip to Chicago ! Everybody from the housekeeping staff to the Office desk staff was very helpful and wonderful ! The room was nice and clean (it opens with a real key, not a card). The hotel is safe and quiet. Great location, a short ride (10min by train) from the Loop and every major attractions in Chicago. We will highly recommend this hotel if you want to stay in a great place for a nice price !
