The Alpine Motel is a great little spot located in the small town of Collbran. It's walking distance to all the restaurants in town and a short drive from Vega State Park, one of Colorado's hidden gems that the Grand Mesa has to offer. Owner's are friendly and accommodating; if you have any issues, reach out and they'll make sure your stay is as comfortable and enjoyable as possible! Great location right downtown within walking distance to restaurants, VERY clean, and comfortable beds.
This motel is fantastic! The room was spacious and spotless. It included numerous amenities like complimentary YouTube TV, a microwave, a mini refrigerator, and plenty of toiletries/towels. The keyless entry was an added bonus. The motel owner was friendly and accommodating, and he had a lot of good recommendations for things to do in the Collbran/Vega/Mesa area. There is a liquor store and a cafe within a block of the property too, which made everything so easy.
Collbran’s singular lodging has outgrown the "only option" trope. Under, remarkably hospitable ownership, a comprehensive renovation has created a base camp of immaculate comfort. It is the definitive year-round staging ground for the Colorado adventurer, offering immediate, unrivaled access to Powderhorn, the Mesa’s sprawling Nordic trails, and the wilderness. Eschew the compromise of proximity; prioritize’s a deliberate stay. We’ve stayed Winter/Spring/Summer to each season we’ve accessed a different sport or activity.
