Specialties: The Cleanest- a Bed and Breakfast Near Historic Deland. The Alling house was home to EB Alling a well known mayor of orange city. It has been well preserved over the years to host the comfort of a Victorian style home with bandage. We enjoy serving our guests so well that they feel like family. We are located over blue springs state park but also a hop skip and a jump from Roaring Daytona speed way. So we have a little bit of everything. Established in 1908.

I stayed in 2 cabins in Alling House the nights of June 28 and 29, 2025 with my elderly Dad and 2 teens. Alling House is a beautiful circa 1903 historic B&B literally on the same street as Blue Spring State Park, maybe 10-15 minutes away. It's also near De Leon Spring State Park and near Cassadaga. The cabins are nice and clean and the neighborhood is quiet and safe. Pioneer cabin has a loft with 2 twin beds and a queen or full size bed on the ground floor! This is our -4th stay- at The Alling House as we have family nearby:) Unlike previous visits, however, we saw not a soul, was not served breakfast, did not run into the owners, Gerald & Nan, to chat or pet their friendly cat, Ms. Molly, etc. I guess times have changed or there are new owners since our last visit over 5 years ago. No doubt it's quiet and you have your privacy, but we miss the B&B family feel. Unbelievably charming and comfortable! Stayed in railroad cottage and loved it. So close to springs as well. Would not consider staying anywhere else when we return to the area!!!
5. I enjoyed it so much I loved it. I'm hoping to come back one day. The tub is HUGE in the Frontier Cottage and I loved that too. They are super great people and very understanding. Definitely book with them you won't regret it.
