Please don’t go to Kim, you’ll waste your time. I should’ve listened to the reviews. He ignored the fact I had anaphylaxis and slapped a diagnosis on me completely disregarding anything I told him. I asked him if any of my allergies could cause anaphylaxis and he said no. I go home to look it up and yes they can. I’m really disappointed he still has a practice. The most useless appointment I’ve ever had.
My case is complicated with a genetic disease another specialist once pointed "doesn't have a home in BC" as in no specialty deals with the whole disease. I sent them a lot of objective evidence for them to go through before our first appointment and some background, I asked to be honest about whether or not they thought they could help. I saw Dr. Kim but unfortunately didn’t receive any treatment. He conducted a few tests on my arms that didn’t lead to any meaningful outcome, said nothing to me afterward, and simply sent me home. Throughout the appointment, he was more focused on complaining about family doctors referring patients to him than actually addressing my concerns. I found his conduct unprofessional and not reflective of the standards expected in the medical profession.
