I passed out at a restaurant a week ago. Dr Johnson asked questions and researched this and found the answer! He said, “ It was fun!” That is my kind of doctor!
After my initial appointment, I am still waiting 10 days later for a prescription for an EpiPen. I've called the office and visited the pharmacy to no avail. I am also waiting for a written report of the visit for my records, since they are not part of MyChart. They also have little understanding of alpha-gal syndrome so may have given incorrect advice. Great easy going staff
The woman at the front desk in Falmouth is incredibly rude. Made comments under her breath etc. Full disclosure I was 20 minutes late due to an insane amount of traffic. I called to let them know and was told it was ok. Apparently all calls go to the Hyannis location so she was not made aware. Clearly an operational issue and not a patient issue. They would not see me which is fine but the lack of bedside manner is not. If you want compassion in your life I don’t suggest this office.
I highly recommend Dr. Johnson. He is extremely personable, helpful, and incredibly knowledgeable. As a newcomer to the Cape, I needed a doctor who would listen to my previous doctors' plans and discuss new ways to help me manage my asthma. I have had great success with his treatment plan. We definitely need more doctors like him!
