Useless entity that will fight you every step of the way for claims
I recently had a great experience with Alberta new home warranty. Claim was processed pretty fast for survey considering this is during Covid, builder was contacted after report is done. Special shout out to Ryan, handled my case promptly and professionally, always respond my email patiently explaining the process, lucky to work with him.

ANHW WORKS FOR BUILDERS NOT FOR HOMEOWNERS. THEIR DICISIONS ARE BIASED, SOUNDS LIKE THEY ARE FINANCIALLY FUNDED BY BUILDER. THIS WHY, CARDEL HOMES LEFT MANY DEFECTS AT MY HOME AND ONE PROFESSION CAME OVER FROM ANHW AND APPROVED ALL DEFECTS NOT TO BE CONSIDERED. SERIOUSLY, HOW CAN YOU NEGLECT THOSE PROBLEM LIKE WATER LEAKS, FLOOR SQEAKY SOUND, CARPET INSTALLED POORLY, PAINT LINES ON WALL, WRONG TILES INSTALLED? Everything is considered “labour and material” - 1 year warranty, expired, denied. What is the point to pay 10k? Why do you have special warranty terms for roof, framing etc. if you deny everything? House was built by trades using materials, it can’t build itself. Waste of money.
