Beautiful location, exceptionally friendly staff that gives good recommendations. Will definitely be back to this coffee shop!
No pictures, great matcha, the pastries are excellent!
My wife and I live in Blacksburg, but whenever we come to Roanoke, we always make a stop at the Albemarle Cafe and especially love the rosemary cheese biscuit with egg and 2 Cortada coffees. Our visit today was horrible. The biscuits were soggy w oil and left oil on your hands, the egg was browned and we could only eat half a biscuit each. Our previous reviews were 5+, but today- 1-2. The Cortada was lovely.
We had the breakfast buns, blueberry lemon scone, mocha, and a cappuccino and all were delicious! The breakfast buns alone made the trip worth the visit! Fantastic!! Clean, delicious great atmosphere and friendly checks all the boxes
My office is in the neighborhood and when I need a break I stroll down and grab a Chai latte and their epic cheddar rosemary biscuit and sit on the porch. If the office dog and his owner are with me, we love that it is dog friendly and has water for the doggo!
