I have been a big fan of the Akron-Journal since I was a child and I'm now 40. It was always the better paper when I was little by far over the record courier. As of which I say with a heavy heart because my uncle was once a writer there.. rest his soul as he passed away a couple years ago. But recently with media companies coming out and not asking for money and not having paywalls. I fear that the Akron journal is going to go out of business one day soon. Hopefully you guys consider taking down your paywalls.

Very aggressive sale tactic. I canceled my subscription, then their salesman called me up twice. I politely declined their promotions, and was about to say I bye. The salesman hung up on me. No less than scam calls at this point

Absolutely the worst publishing company in the US. No paper for 7 days. No papers in retail locations. Only joy for 97 year old Lifetime subscriber is her morning read. Congratulations ABJ for ruining an entire week

Paywall. I'm not giving you money for a simulated newspaper. Newspapers are on paper. While broadcast media competes for customers, this business is hiding stuff behind a paywall. That is not how the internet works. And looking at the other reviews, I'm probably better off not subscribing. It appears people that have been unfortunate enough to do so have been unable to cancel it in a convenient and reasonable manner.

Cancel subscription button online conveniently "has an error" and you have to call to cancel your subscription only to be offered 50% then 75% off to keep you paying. Shady business practices are the reason you are failing.
