This shop is amazing. I was having surgery and needed my hair done so I wouldn't have to worry about doing it after surgery. The owner Vanessa was so helpful. She did my hair for me. I showed her a picture of how I had my hair done years ago for another surgery I had and she did the exact hair style and everything. My surgery was in July and a success. Now I'm ready for vacation and I definitely am going back to have my hair done again. Thank you Vanessa, I appreciate all your kindness and professionalism. I'll see you soon.

Excellent place! Brought my daughter for her first "big girl" braids, and the stylists were very kind and warm, making it easy for my daughter to trust the process and not be afraid. I've had several of my own traumatic experiences with other "stylists" here in Atlanta, not the case at all here. Very professional, very clean, very friendly, beautiful braids. Highly recommend!

10 stars to The African Braid Bar! This is the best hair studio I’ve been to!!! I needed to get a special hairstyle for a special event. My braider was not only able to do my hair just like the picture I showed her but she was very gentle and did not pull my hair out. It didn’t hurt as it usually would when I get my hair braided by other braiders. I had no soreness at all. She was very careful not to pull on my hair so I didn’t lose any.
