Awesome dark sky. Fantastic people!
The observatory is open infrequently. cloud cover and weather will dictate if it's worth while opening up. they have some great equipment there and knowledgeable volunteer astronomers. great for kids of all ages. no tickets required, no charge for admission
We had visitors from out of town so we thought we would enjoy the night sky. Everyone had a great time and really loved the experience.
Everyone involved with the Adirondack Sky Center genuinely want to share their knowledge and excitement with everyone. From the sky tours outside to the telescope viewing inside, it's a great experience for all ages and experience with astronomy.
