As one of the instructors at the Academy at Glengary, I work with members daily on a variety of graphic design and multimedia projects. Each day my life is enriched as I help to provide members an opportunity for success and friendship, while improving their mental health wellness.
The Academy is an accredited program with Clubhouse International and provides hands-on vocational training for adults living with a mental diagnosis. The staff at The Academy at Glengary is comprised of friendly, top-notch professionals who take their job seriously, providing training and coaching in preparation for transitional employment, as well as job placement in an environment conducive to learning, and at a pace corresponding with one's abilities. I really love going to the academy it has helped with my anxiety and my job. It has made me come out of my box and make me feel like I'm important person in life. I really like the art class and in design. And Billy is a really good teacher. And William is the best. And all the stuff is really kind and thoughtful and like to listen to you.
