Visited yesterday and purchased 5 mini cinnamon donuts and tried to eat after got home and every one of them was super dry and fell apart when biting into. Not good at all!!! Tried crescent donuts also. The frosting was chocolate but was real runny and flavorless. Won't be going back there again
There custard long johns are delicious. Honestly the best I have ever had. They are jammed pack end to end of some very smooth tasting custard. The dough is awesome. A word of advice as this was first time trying them. Don't drive and try to eat them. They will explode while eating. Lol. Also when your lucky enough to grab one you better grab two or three. They sell out fast. Pre order is your best option to guarantee your donut fix.
I bought donuts, very underwhelming. The baker seemed kind. The establishment was a disaster. So much clutter and disorganization. There were oven mitts sitting on the lid of the trashcan. Not something you want to see at a place you buy food at.
First time trying their donuts today. WOW! Took me back. In the 70s I lived a mile away from Dawn Donuts, in Saginaw. When I was a kid I would ride my banana seat bike with a basket to get Saturday morning donuts to watch Saturday morning cartoons. Those donuts were the best. You didn't taste lard, grease or chemicals. That old fashion taste seems like a forgotten trade. But... Today I took a bite of that blueberry long John and was sent back in time.
