One of the absolute best restaurants in Denton, great service, amazing food and fantastic atmosphere!
First time enjoying the exceptional food and ambience of the Abbey Inn for lunch with my husband and our son Chris. Food was served in a timely manner according to our order and was delicious. Waiter was attentive and courteous. Chris is a junior transfer to the UNT as of August 2017. We were in Denton to secure his apartment at Cityparc at Fry Street for the coming year. Denton seems like a great college town.
Sheppards pie was amazing! I enjoyed the service too. I love eating here and trying new things.
Very nice atmosphere. We had a couple of Pimms Lemonade drinks which were perfect, Fried pickles, Dill salmon, Fish & Chips, Cottage pie and it was all delicious. It's family friendly. We took my 2 year old granddaughter & she enjoyed her chicken strips. They have lots of beer & Guinness on tap. I didn't have it last night but last time I was there it was perfect. The service was excellent. Our waiter was Derek and he did a great job. It's nice to have so many choices here in town that aren't major chains.
My experience there has always been enjoyable. And what a fun place to have some good food with dear friends last night.
