I just had my first appointment at the salon. It was a beautiful space. I saw Olivia, who was recommended to me for wavy/curly hair. Olivia is a lovely human with a ton of knowledge of various textures of hair. This was my first official curly cut and she walked me through every step, really listened to me, and checked in with me throughout the process to make sure she followed what I wanted. My husband requested a haircut of a specific length (3/4 inch guard). Somehow, the stylist misunderstood or misheard and gave him a buzz cut—starting with a buzz right down the middle so that nothing could be done to fix the mistake. My husband is too shy to write a review, but I haaaate how he looks with a buzz cut, so here I am! My natural hair is a wild frizzy mess. KK was able to cut and style my hair into the curls they were destined to be. I had a great first experience at 1994 and will be returning for my next haircut. Thanks KK!
