I stayed at The 1888 this past weekend for my birthday. The 2 rooms we had were the excellent. King sized beds, large screen TVs, dressing area, kitchen, bathroom, fancy shower heads, super clean, easy access locks. The location is a couple of blocks from the pier and a 1/2 block from the free looper. It was a perfect stay and I will definetely atay there again

LOVED our stay at 1888. The room was so well appointed and cozy, and I gotta say that the shower is particularly magical. Location can’t be beat, I was able to walk to several museums and workout classes while staying there. Staff was polite and communicative, but never intrusive! Highly recommend.

Was a guest in the Casita behind the hotel for a weekday stay. The staff was very nice. The room was very clean. The lobby and the common area was fine but very dark inside pretty much a staff- less environment. The Casita does have 12 steep steps so for elderly that wouldn’t work. The Casita was fully appointed with nice appliances, and the beds were very comfortable. The communication was clear, and through multiple channels, boarding on too much.

I rented a 2 bedroom apartment at this hotel on a Friday night (08/07). Access to Beach Drive and all the restaurants, bars and clubs is minutes away walking. Free parking was at a garage about 1.5 blocks away. There is a 15 minute parking space off the alley behind the hotel which was convenient so you could offload and didn’t have to walk with luggage from garage. Hotel is exactly as pictured. Room was clean and comfortable.
