Maine General Gastro cancelled my referral after 4 months saying they were too short staffed. My PCP at Thayer is supposed to be getting me referrals for an endoscopy to other places which still haven’t been sent. She also won’t put urgent on the referral because I am considered “stable”. It’s well documented for over a year; constant stomach and intestinal discomfort, hot and cold spells, feeling unstable, missing work, etc. I’ve had to make constant phone calls and follow up. I wish I could give them 0 stars.
