The owner and/or manager was extremely rude. We asked permission to be seated with our 11 and 8 year old as they don't seat under the age of 12. He said no problem but that we'd have to pay full price as there is no children's menu. No issue on our part as our daughters don't usually pick from the kids menu. As he seated us, he stated with disgust, not once but 3 times right in front of our kids, "There is no way she is 11!" After checking out every restuarant on the mall; my parents and I picked Thats Amore. We had never dined here before and will never dine here again. We came in early in the evening ( around 6/630 ). We did not have reservations nor were we dressed to the nines. But it was a Thursday and we picked this restuarant spontaniously and despite the frown the hostess gave us she said they had a table and we were seated immediately. Been there twice for dinner. The first time was amazing, the shrimp Alfredo had me dying to come back- but left me disappointed the next time we came in and ordered. Bland, watery sauce and flavorless all around. I’ll probanly go back to give them another chance in hopes the original Alfredo is back...but it’s a costly gamble!
