wheres the check????? i also had a problem with the owner on a bill for my daughter's party. first off, it was hand written. right there is a red flag!!! nothing was was written on it but a total amount. i was also told if i pay cash that i dont have to pay taxes. when i asked for an itemized bill the owner said he doesnt have one. i dont think its in the computer until they know if your paying cash or credit card. and i still feel that they added things to my check to make it higher. Unprofessional, insenstive management had the misfortune to eat at this restaurant this Saturday for a birthday.We waited 1 1/2 hours (90 min) for our food and were told by the owner, manager who told us it would be out soon without an apology or a kind word. When the food did come, 1 of the orders was wrong, 1 was delayed an additional 15 minutes and 1 never came....After the whole fiasco, we were greeted with a check that not only did not accommodate any of these transgressions but actually charged extra for my 6 year old ... read more
This Place is Crazy Crowded on weekends!, and definitely not worth it. It's like people are just swayed by big portions. Food is somewhat good, but not worth the shoddy service, and uncourteous treatment from Manager and Staff. When there's a wait, they think they're God. You better know them, or you're wait is mysteriously longer
what happen to this place!? went there on 09-10-10. have been there before and thought it was ok. now it seems it might be under new ownership. either that or it just has gone down hill! waitresses just hang by the coffee machine and talk too loud. no one running anything! food was way too salty. much better places to go. you wont be happy with staff or food if looking for an above average experience.
That's Amore is not the place to go... I would never eat at this restaurant again. Management is unprofessional. After making a mistake on the bill, the manager refused to refund the mistake after arguing with me and coming up with many different excuses as to why the amount was what it was. Bad math and blatant lies on the bill were what the problem was but he would not do the right thing. Pick Valentinos or Pinos where the service, food and management know how to treat their customers.
That's Amore This restaurant is right in front of my house, and it really is a great place. My family and I eat there every week and it's practically a habit to go now!
Good food but Bad service 05/10 -This place was great the first 2 years it was open but since then all has gone down hill. The food is still good but The service is now Horrible!!!!!!! We use to ask for Sue but she is only there sometimes as we are told. I think the just tell people that to make them come back, She took such good care of us everytime we were there we never noticed how the rest of the restaurant was running. RIP OFF we had a party there a couple months ago. they gave us a written check. when asked to see exactly what we were charged for, the owner ran from us. the poor waitstaff didnt know what to do. i felt sorry for them. when i figured out what the price SHOULD have been...i figured out i was over charged! when questioned the owner talked in broken english like he didnt understand! take your $ somewhere else!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
rude hostess Ate their a couple of times. Saturday service is the pits so I tried on a Tuesday. Hostess was rude. Felt I was bothering her when she had to but her cell phone away to seat us. Waiter was very friendly. But the food came out at different times. Five out of six meals came out and the last one came out 15 mins later. The hostess,Sue, came over to say it happens alot of times. Not what you want to hear when out to dinner. Very rude answer. Taking my business elsewhere.
