This place has raised its prices 20 percent and discontinued many flavors. The new owners who purchased from the original Italian owners have lowered standards and don’t know what they’re doing- and the proof is in the difference in flavor. This was my last visit. They never have what I want. Flavors that were on the menu for the 10 years we frequented before new ownership. Look at all the empty case space. Nothing exotic. Grocery store gelato is competitive. Not what it used to be. - reply to owner comment… put the mean lady back in charge of responding to reviews I see. I’m sure it will get revised to “let’s all be nice” like the other mean responses soon enough. We know what you really are though.
That’s Amore Gelato is a great place to enjoy gelato that feels truly authentic. The gelato is incredibly smooth and creamy, with flavors that are rich but not overly sweet, letting the ingredients shine. Each scoop tastes thoughtfully made, and the variety makes it fun to try something new each visit. The shop has a clean, welcoming atmosphere, and the staff are friendly and happy to help with recommendations. It’s an excellent local dessert bar when you’re craving something cool, indulgent, and consistently high quality.
