Thatcher Awnings has been changed to ********* *******. I paid for services and I still need my awning washed that I paid for. I have called and called with no response. TERRIBLE customer service!!
Rodney from Thatcher installed our awning and we paid maintenance every year with a winter and spring cover take down process. In October 2019 they took our money for the spring take down but are now Out of business and not answering phones. It’s a chain awning system and many online companies will not service them and are very well aware of Thatcher’s departure from the business.
In December 2019 we put a 50% deposit down on a retractable awning to be installed this spring. I called last week to check on the status of that order. The voice mail stated that I had reached "Exclusive Retractable Awnings." I have left three messages with no response. I called the salesman's cell phone and was sent directly to his voice mail and he has not responded either. Today we drove over to the showroom and they are GONE. We moved into a new home, and in order to get approval for any additions, the HOA must approve. They require a quote and specifications. We contact Thatcher Retractable Awnings, and agreed on a product, received a quote, and to get a jump on a 6 to 8 week delay, we provided a deposit of $1,600.00. The HOA did not approve the addition, and July 2nd, notified Karen (Thatcher Retractables), and sent her the HOA response that awnings of any type are not an approved addition.
