Serving steaks, Prime Rib, Kabobs, Iowa Chops just to name a few. Just want a sandwich, we have great burgers and tenderloins, and other sandwiches too! Don't forget to stop in for our famous "Black Dirt Cake" voted by the Des Moines Register top 100 things you should eat before you die. Reservations are highly recomended for every night of the week we are open, but don't be afraid to stop in and ask if we have room, if your are just passing by. Call any time for reservations!

Outstanding food & service. Prime rib is exceptional.
Very fine place to get a great steak, but be sure to make reservations, fills up fast.
The steak is done to perfection! You get your moneys worth. Get reservations that way you will get in, walk-ins are welcome.

New Management - Same Great Food! – This restaurant went under new management in Nov. 2005. The steaks are done to your liking and the prices are very reasonable. The broasted chops, prime rib, and BBQ ribs are also excellent. Oh, and don't forget to have a piece of their famous Black Dirt Cake. It is highly recomended that you make reservations.
