A wonderful and very important medical center in Chatham.
I could not be happier with all the experiences I have had at Thamesview. Particularly Shannon on reception - she's always calm and realistic. Not to mention that she gets me in to see an NP pretty quickly. And my last appt was with NP Colleen Martin; she was very thorough in the exam, and followed up by phone with test results and next steps. Fantastic!
Nurse Practitioner Colleen Martin provided excellent care to me. She listened to my concerns, promptly ran thorough tests, and resolved the issues that were bothering me. She followed up with me along the course of treatment to make sure that I was getting back to my normal self. I felt very heard and advocated for; it was a great experience. The one receptionist wasn't the friendliest lady to speak with, but the other one I spoke with was very nice.
Some of the receptionists have no knowledge. I am a patient and needed to have specific paperwork filed before a certain period. The receptionist was very rude and did not tell me the correct information. They had no knowledge of how the system works. They made me wait for a month for an appointment I apparently did not need. The receptionists are not educated and have no patient experience whatsoever. I can't say enough good things about this practice. Reception fields all my strange questions, and all my other needs as a disabled senior have been well addressed by a nurse, or a doctor, or a nurse practitioner. If you get the opportunity to become a patient? You've found a safe landing.
