I recommend Dr. Thakkar frequently. He is knowledgeable and data driven. He is kind, compassionate, and explains details. He is approachable.
Dr. Thakkar is very concerned about every detail of his practise. He is very thorough with his work. My concern is he just does not listen to his patients. This is the one thing that will stop me from any further recommendation.
My husband was on his death bed other Dr told him he had 6 wk at the most so we come to Az thinking he wouldn't make it there this has been over a year and he is doing good I would recommend Dr Thakkar to everyone
He is the most caring and understanding Oncologist I have ever met. I would recommend him to anyone in a heart beat!!!!!
My experience with Dr. Thakkar has been very good. He has always seemed very concerned and thorough. He did the follow-up preventive treatments for me AFTER I had a breast lumpectomy then radiation at the same center. His manner is quick talk but still very considerate. He has a good sense of humor and the most important thing about him is how thorough he is about all my follow-up treatments after surgery and radiation. I trust his care.
