Phenomenal service, even better food!! – I had a craving for Thai food, and after searching for places in Allen, I landed on this one. I walked in not knowing what to expect, and was pleasantly surprised. I asked for take out so I got seated at the bar. I am a vegetarian, so when I asked about the menu, he said that they could make any dish vegetarian. Mmmm I had the Panang curry but asked for more veggies which he said no problem. Great Thai food Thai Pan was great food and service very friendly, and reasonable prices, I'm glad I found this place.
Good Spice I love Thai Pan when I need my spice fix. I have been to the one in McKinney and in Allen and they are both excellent. Panang Curry, basil fried rice....they do it all and they do it right.
the rudest server ever – Food there was just plain to ok. There are better Thai food in the neighborhood. However, the server was extremely rude when he found out we tipped him just 10-15% of the food price charged. We did bring our kids with us but I don't think we should have tip him more for his mediocre service. I will warn everyone I know not ever go to this restaurant.
Thai Pan Thai Pan is easy and convenient to get to. It is on Mcdermott just East of 75. The inside is surprisingly very upscale. Prices are reasonable. Service is EXCELLENT. The best part is the authentic Food. Always delicious and fresh. Enjoy.
Delicious, friendly, reasonable – We've been visiting Thai Pan for several years now, and every time the experience is first rate. We especially love the summer rolls and corn patties for starters, and Panang curry, pad gra pow and the veggie lover plate for dinner. A banana boat (fried banana and ice cream) is just the right finale. The service is attentive and friendly. Definitely a favorite choice when we entertain guests--they remember Thai Pan as a highlight of their visit with us.
Good Thai vegetarian – If you are vegetarian (like me) you will appriciate the fact that they will gladly accomodate you. If you tell them up front, they will make pretty much ANY of the dishes VEGTARIAN or VEGAN. The food always fresh and made to order, perfectly seasoned, and consistently delicious.
Excellent food and service, Everyone at the table was happy the garlice shrimp(pad gratiem prik thai), yellow curry chicken, pad thai chicken, and peanut with tofu dish, they have DELICIOUS garlic sauce. I saw people bringing in their own beer and wine, which mean you can save money on the ripoff prices. that mean BYOB welcome.
