Thai Food Extraordinaire – On a scale from 1 to 10, Thai Orchid Cafe scores a "57." We are now 400 miles away, but we stop in Lexington at this restaurant most trips to Kentucky. The spring rolls, the corn soup, the chicken with basil and chiles, are to die for, regardless of the bad grammar. We have followed the owners from their original restaurant in Frankfort and only wish we were close enough to have a weekly dose of great Thai food and hospitallity.
Best Thai food this side of the Pacific – I love this restaurant. The ambiance is very warm and comfortable, giving the great opportunity for quiet dinner conversation. This makes it a great place to bring a date. There is food for every taste, whether you like it hot or are picky about trying new things (like my girlfriend).
