Thai Lanna is the real thing Located in the Greenwood Shopping Center south of 54 & 55 in RTP, Thai Lanna is a small Thailand family owned restuarant featuring authentic Northern Thai dishes. Good food and service .. Good thai food. It's a small place with good lunch menu. You will find it crowded in the afternoons on weekdays, but there is no waiting time.It's very popular among the working crowd from RTP. The place is also good for dinner. Very friendly staff, quiet ambiance for dinner. Affordable rates.
Thai Lanna Restaurant I have gone here for lunch... and although the food is no doubt good, it's always very crowded. But all in all a great place for thai food at reasonable prices! I would definitely recommend this place
Best ginger salad in RTP! Thai Lanna is very conveniently located restaurant in RTP. Very good lunch place. I love their spicy vegetable fried rice. No other restaurant can beat that spicy taste. If you are veggie, definitely try their fried rice with roasted cashew nuts. Spice level - 4 star (very spicy). Do not forget ginger salad!
Delicious. Pay no attention to the laughably moronic bad reviews. – I'm distressed to see three such ignorant and negative reviews of this lovely small Thai place. Slow service can happen at any restaurant, and frequently does at overrated, ludicrously expensive places which do not seem to suffer one whit from their miserable service, pretentious food, and rude staff. Avoid at all costs - slow service, poor manners, greasy food – My gf and I visited this restaurant on the advice from a friend. We placed our order at 6:30, and by 7:30, it has still had not come. They put a lot of people ahead of us and never said anything. We noticed everyone who came in after us were served and we had nothing, so we asked the waiter what was going on. Best Pad Thai in RTP – I've been coming here for years and the service has always been fantastic. It's very popular with the lunch crowd so it's almost always packed around noon so try to get there a bit early if you want to be seated right away. I highly recommend the pad thai like so many other reviews. Tell them to make it 6 star spicy if you can handle the heat. =)
Watching a rock grow would been faster!!!! – I had been to this restaurant a couple of times prior to today and had decent experiences. After today, I will no longer visit Thai Lanna. I went with a co-worker. We arrived at 12:05 and were brought beverages and salad soon after. That's all we got. We left after an hour. No one even addressed us. It will not happen again.
Not the Best Thai in the Triangle (By a Long Shot) – It is as though this restaurant has given up. The tired atmosphere, limited menu, and mediocre food are all consistent with what you'd expect from its strip mall location.
