Delivery Service is a Sham – For some reason I am a glutton for punishment. I have ordered from Thai Lagoon for delivery multiple times, each time it takes longer and longer to get to me, the last time we ordered it took an hour and half. Of course, when I called the restaurant couldn't be ruder and actually had the gall to blame it on me because I called during their busy time. For food that is just so/so I can go without the attitude and wait.
Good food and reasonable prices. – This place is a nice neighborhood joint. If you don't see your favorite traditional thai item, ask the wait staff what they'd recommend, they're very helpful. They're also accomodating in adding or removing items from dishes. The BYOB policy is a nice savings too. You can't go wrong with anything on the menu. It's also veggie friendly.
Check it out – Good food (especially the curry), great romantic atmosphere, and service. One of the best in the city.
MY FAV THAI RESTAURANT – This is my favorite little Thai locale in the city. Can make most dishes Vegetarian, decent portions, and romantic setting. The Pad Thai & Panang Curry are the best I've had !!!
Noodle dishes and sushi at reasonable prices draw a hipster crowd to this Wicker Park hangout. – In Short Low-lit and laid-back, this Asian eatery has a modest decor of small, marble-topped tables and a hut-like counter, but the place is consistently filled with young neighborhood hipsters. Popular items include curries, noodle and rice dishes. Other offerings include grilled beef salads and appetizers like gyoza dumplings and satay, plus about 14 different rolls from the small sushi bar.
