Disappointing experience. I’m trying to establish a pcp and went to the first consultation. I arrived at 1:45 for a 2:15 appointment. I wasn’t seen till 2:53. The Dr was to give me a referral for lab work after I got out. I waited over 20 minutes and the paper wasn’t available. I had to go back to work so the receptionist told me she would mail me the order. It’s been 2 weeks and I never received anything so I went back to the clinic for a print out and the receptionist said that the order was expired…. Within 2 weeks! So no... read more
Would not recommend if you are seeking attentive care. We scheduled a post-operative appointment for my husband with Dr. Hanna Ro Dowell, hoping to align his primary care with his TGH surgical team. Unfortunately, the experience fell far short of our expectations. Dr. Ro Dowell made several referrals that went nowhere: a nurse navigator who never called, a mental health appointment scheduled a month out, and a pain management specialist who handles knees, backs, and necks—not post-surgical care. The service was excellent overall, starting with the front desk. The medical assistant, whose name I can't remember the name, was very kind. APRN Julia Young was also kind and attentive. Honestly, I don't know why this place has bad reviews because I received excellent service.
My doctor was fine, but I almost had to have my surgery rescheduled because their office administration did not respond to a request from my surgeon for records for an entire week, and once they started processing it they said they didnt have the ability to send a fax.... which is baffling for a doctors office. Eventually I had to go track the records down myself in the middle of my work day. I wish there was an option for less than one star.
