Had a 70 hp Johnson rebuilt a few year back. Was quoted a price to have block bored, new pistons, etc. (complete overhaul of powerhead). Went to pick up the motor and was told that is was only honed and reringed due to cylinder wall damage. Priced increased 20%. On top of that they wouldn't accept a check or card. Motor still didn't run correct. I brought a compression gauge. One cylinder only has 50 psi. Other two at 90-95 psi. Worthless rebuild. Would not recommend. Will never use again.

Excellent sales and service! I have dealt with the owner for more years than I can count. He shoots straight with me and he is always spot on and he has decades of experience that I have yet to find at any other dealership. That is why our bass club travels the distance we do for small and large repairs. There's not to many of you old pros left out there Joe, thanks for your years of dedication to the industry!
Just wish you wouldn't post in every single Craigslist town withing 200 miles. And if you are going to atleast list your prices dont leave it at zero and expect us to go to your website.
