RecommendedAny 1969 graduates with a BS in Nursing out there? Just occurred to me that it's been 50 years since I graduated!! I had a long, extremely satisfying and gratifying career in nursing with the federal government.
A solid education Will last you a lifetime.
The best thing I ever did was to attend TWU. Graduated in 1978 with a BSN in nursing, and spent my career as an RN. It took me from Texas to New York and afforded me income and a wonderful profession. The people I met and the curriculum which I learned allowed me to grow my love of nursing and, most especially, my love of people and the involvement in their care and lives. TWU was the springboard of my adulthood and I will forever be grateful for the people, professors, campuses (both Denton and Houston), and friends.

I totally recommend TWU! I attended here a decade ago and now returning again! I am a nontraditional student and I feel right at home. This school has helped me to change my life in many ways! I have the opportunity to focus on my studies, work on my small business, travel abroad and the list goes on and on. In a world of uncertainties, coldness and feeling alone, there are many avenues for anyone on this campus. I feel totally supported by the staff and my fellow classmates. I recommend TWU because the programs are among the greatest of all universities. The education program is one of the top programs in the U.S. I recommend the professors because every professor I had was highly qualified and professional. Every President that I have met had TWU students, staff, and community at the center of importance.
I loved my experiance at Texas Women's University. I was well prepared for the outside world. I made many friends that have stuck with me.
