All of the staff are very nice. I come here for the depo every 3 months and they always remember me and are super nice.

I went to see a specialist with speculation that i had PCOS. I called in November told earliest was March. When I finally got the appointment she was rude and dismissed me because i had regular cycle for 3 months for the first time in a year. Forgot I had all other symptoms. Said nothing wrong with me its in my head, that I didn't understand a period, and that I had a low pain tolerance. Her solution, no test because it would be a waste of money/time but to take pain meds and use a heating pad. I left that appointment crying... read more

I have gone to UMC my entire life and I really do love it. Unfortunately, when it comes to specialists, appointment scheduling is NOT acceptable for the well-being of patients. I scheduled an appointment end of march-beginning april and the soonest was mid July. I received a call today stating that my provider was no longer with umc. The next appointment available was October! So basically I have been waiting to see my doctor for 7 months. This is disappointing especially for patients who do have major medical issues. Avoid at all costs. Listen to the reviews. For what it's worth, the actual practitioners are amazing. I LOVE Karen Tam as my gynecologist, Dr. Phillips is a great OB, and Rachel, their nurse is simply a blessing from above. The care team is great and I cannot stress that enough. However, the fact that you have to go through the gauntlet of the front desk to ever get ANY help is asinine. I've never dealt with a more inept front desk team.
