It’s really unfortunate my rating is so low. However, I will not be returning to Atkins Sinus Center based on the horrible experience I had. Let me start by emphasizing how great Dr. Willson is - He’s knowledgeable, charismatic, and did a great job diagnosing and explaining the issue. The doctors have been great, and I have no complaints about their care. My concerns are with the surgery coordinator/office manager and the way my surgery authorization has been handled. It seemed that there were issues getting the authorization submitted to Cigna for my deviated septum surgery. I was told Cigna would require another CT scan and antibiotics, even though I had already completed both through another office. I had turbinate reduction and balloon sinuplasty with doctor Atkins. Two weeks post op check up with James. I told James that I felt some scrab or dried blood stuck deep inside of my nose that saline solution cannot reach to flush out. He checked and said they're minor and will come out on their own. This is end of third week and I still feel the scab or dried blood (I am guessing here) obstruction. They make me feel uncomfortable and cause fluid to back up into my eyes. I recently had sinus surgery with Dr Atkins and his team. It went perfectly. Everyone on great and professional. The procedure and the recovery was so well explained I felt very confident going in coming home. No complications and all has gone very well. Would highly recommend them.
