Paul was able to quickly isolate the overheating issue on my '77 scout. He also fixed several other issues with my steering and other miscellaneous items. He was thorough very communicative explained everything he was doing and I couldn't be happier with my experience.
Paul was straightforward and fair with pricing, didn’t ever try to sugarcoat or hide anything, and took good care of my scout. He took the time needed to do things right, and even kept an eye out for other things that really needed to be fixed even if I didn’t ask about them initially. He went beyond just what I asked for, and made sure he did what was needed to make my scout safe and fun to drive.
Attention to all considering Texas Scouts for your vehicle needs: Proceed with extreme caution. My own experience serves as a stark warning. Since entrusting Paul with my Scout in 2020, I've been caught in an endless loop of "just another week" promises. Substandard at best. I decided to look elsewhere for service after communication lacked follow-up.
Texas Scouts is the only place in Texas that have worked on at least 100 of these Scouts so they must know a few things! Got some awesome help from them when they came to California !! Highly recommend !
