Definitely one of the smaller natural history museums but it has everything you would want to see. I enjoyed sections that highlighted regional animals throughout history and their presence in the modern day. I came when there were lots of renovations and sections were closed off so I felt I couldn't see all they had to offer. Turns out only military members get the discount. Military spouses and their kids have to pay $10 per person. Even though that was unexpected, we still wanted to check it out, plus we already paid $6 for the parking. Anyway, the museum is really small. There are mainly narrow hallways of animal stuffings. There wasn't much information to read or activities for the kids. At best, the fossils were fascinating, but still, we were expecting more based on the ads.
