I had an emergent ankle/ leg injury and unfortunately did not have the opportunity to choose my surgeon. Dr. Ryan performed my tib-fib ankle repair, during which a tendon in my foot was severed. This has led to additional complications in my recovery that I was not expecting or prepared for. While I highly recommend Baylor Scott & White for their overall care and professionalism, I would personally suggest avoiding Texas Orthopedics based on my experience. Dr McArthur with Texas Orthopedics in Kyle has a wonderful bedside manner in the hospital as well as his office. He is there to answer any and all questions related to the orthopedic issues you may be experiencing.
We have been patients of TO for many years and have nothing but good things to say about all the doctors we’ve seen and the wonderful PT , next door . I’m looking forward to my second knee replacement, in Oct with Dr McArthur. 👍🦵👍
