I have a hole in my chest and all they are doing is keeping a bandage on it and I can't get it infected. That means the chest internally is infected. I go back on 4/1 hopefully the will sew it up. I will update if they sew me up.

I’m deeply disappointed with my recent experience at Woodlands Oncology, particularly with a member of the nursing staff whose lack of professionalism and empathy was both unexpected and unacceptable. So thankful for Dr. Hook! Upon her suggestion, we investigated further after a negative biopsy. Her hunch was correct that it was cancerous. Caught it early thanks to her intuition. And Dr. Ryan was super informative regarding all of the tests, results and future procedure needs and reasoning.
Dr. Nair is an excellent doctor. BUT their scheduling department and some of the nurses in the infusion room are absolutely horrible. Nurse Dawn J should be fired! She was my nurse on more than one occasion and completely unprofessional. The final straw was when she removed a patients IV bag then came over to me to remove mine and did not change her gloves. 1000 percent true. This is a huge safety violation.
