Aktar sent me to have a biopsy of a mass on my right kidney, most likely cancer, and to my surprise, they did it to me awake. Nightmare. There is something "suspicious" about my kidney, and all other doctors had me put to sleep because I am severely claustrophobic, but he refused to have anesthesia for my MRI. So, I refused to go into the tube. I haven't heard a word from them since then. I suppose I'll die from cancer now. Bummer

I had a great experience with this provider. They were kind, patient, and truly took the time to listen to all of my concerns. I don’t think Dr. Akhmatova is a good doctor. He sees you for all of 5 minutes, and never listens to anything you have to say

Texas oncology does not rate with any star! It truly is a shame I had to give them one.. They are so unprofessional. These people do not care about you, or your loved one whatsoever! The lady that called you back to the back is the most rudest and most unprofessional person I have ever met in my life. She actually tried to pick a fight with me in front of everybody in the waiting room. I’ll because I asked one simple question.
