I have been a patient of Dr. Okani for over two years, and he has been excellent. The front desk and financial staff have also consistently been courteous and helpful. Unfortunately, my experiences with the scheduling staff have been persistently negative. I absolutely love my physician at Texas Oncology, but you better be in no hurry to have anything done. My physician will order an infusion to be completed within the two weeks following an appointment, and every time I have to call back after that two week window to ask why I haven't been scheduled. It's never an issue with my insurance because when I call them they haven't even received a request. This repeats each time I need therapy (for the past 5+ years at this location). Called to schedule an appointment, the on call service answered……when she was typing what I was saying, I could hear the typing of the keys which was really loud and super annoying!
