When routine labwork showed that my creatine was elevated, my regular doctor referred me to Dr Kumar who did fresh labs. Based on the results & on my daily meds, determined that a doctor telling me to take Aleve for finger joint arthritis should have advised me to not take it long term as it can harm one's kidneys. We monitored my numbers as time passed since I stopped taking it & we reached the point of just checking it every 6 months.
