Texas Health & Racquet Club is over-rated It is not that the gym is horrible but the employees are very rude. If you are not a common face of years or a young, hot college girl beware. Preferential treatment is very obvious. I did enjoy the basketball lunch games. The personal training is a joke. There is nothing personal about it. The program is a one size fits all from a guy who could care less if you show up or not because they already got your money. DON'T DO IT! DO NOT sign a contract with these guys!! Ignore the 'happy' reviews, the minute they want to cancel they'll understand. I was *PROMISED* over and over and over again that this was a ONE MONTH contract and after that it went month-to-month. THIS IS A LIE. Even if you cancel your membership, you are still LIABLE FOR THE PAYMENTS. STAY FAR AWAY from this place!! Plus, it's crowded, smelly, and their Zumba instructors will rob you of your hearing!

Spin Classes Rock I have been a member of THRC since the summer -- participating in spin classes at least once a week -- the instructors are fantastic making the classes addicting.

Satisfied member!!! I have been a member for over 2 years now. I don't come a whole lot but when I do I normally just hit the weights or play some b-ball. I was searching the web for a friend and found these negative comments about my gym. I personally haven't experienced any of these problems that the other people had. I never had a contract when I signed up and for the price and accessability it works for me.
