Upon arrival, the front desk staff hands you a mask, WITHOUT GLOVES ON, so you get a contaminated mask and have to put it on! Since my mother’s surgery yesterday morning at 7:00 (shoulder replacement) Not 1 doctor has bothered to check in. It’s 11:15 the day after and still no doctor has shown their faces! The floor nurses are all so sweet and kind.

I don’t know what has happened to this hospital but my husband has received subpar care there now for the last time. Last October he was an inpatient with symptoms of recurring sepsis. The attending physician didn’t listen to his complaints and was very rude to me when I tried to talk with him about my husband. He discharged him too soon and had to be treated by other doctors when released too early. RecommendedI want to pass on that Nurse Kendra is amazing!!! I was terrified to have my cath removed because of a bad experience and she walked me through it...she even turned on the sink water as I tried to use the restroom. Awesome. She would fix my blankets and was sure I was covered up. She also offered to help with my hair (bun), saying that was also in her job description. She is amazing. I went in for surgery on 911 was taken back to get ready to go to surgery and sat there for an hour and a half before a nurse came out and wanted to know I was there I finally told him that I have surgery in less than an hour I want to speak to a supervisor the supervisor came in and I said I have had not one nurse come in here and check on me since I’ve been back here so within five minutes it was for nurses there everybody was trying to do the same thing The nurse who is trying to put my IVN kept beating the hell out of my... read more
