Deceptive/False advertising for this place. Got an email from THR advertising services and visited their website to book appt. Website showed the option for SELF-PAY, so I was able to book an appt. for 2:40 p.m. about a week out at the Royse City location. Receptionist called while I was trying to create my Chart online (which they required before appt.) and said "the Dr. can't do a 2:40 p.m. appointment, it would have to be 2:00 p.m." on that date. Called and asked if they test for adenovirus. Was told this is the common cold and they did not seem to care or take my concerns seriously. One quick google search will tell you this is not the common cold and although symptoms are similar, adenovirus symptoms can be more severe. Look elsewhere if you want compassionate and knowledgeable medical care.
Office staff is NOT very knowledgeable of insurance.
I went to establish new care with Sara, specifically to have a refill on a prescription. Everyone was so kind but I left in tears as the after care summary stated on my paper that I was chronically overweight and this was discussed as a problem at the appointment which was untrue this was not talked about. I found this place on my insurance website and it stated in-network, but beware they don’t check your benefits until “the day before your appointment.” After scheduling an appointment over 1 month ago, scheduling time off of work the office called my Mother today (still don’t understand why they called her, since I never had a missed call or message from them) to say that I was not in network.
