We have been patients of Dr. John G. McCray’s since he initially opened his private practice at this same location many, MANY years ago. We’ve built a wonderful (hard to find) patient/doctor relationship with both he & a number of the staff members at Texas Health Family Care who have come & gone over the years as well. (Mrs. Kristin, one of Dr. McCray’s original RN’s was great — we will sure miss seeing her at this practice, but wish her well in her future endeavors.) Gail Herrera is fantastic. She listens, she's compassionate, and I feel she truly cares. She is helping me get back to being myself and feeling like myself. She has referred me to some other modes of treatment like psychiatry, therapy and a neurologist. She understands what I'm going through and she truly cares. Gail Herrera is an asset to Bartonville Family Medical/Texas Health. Without Gail, I don't know where I would be right now. I am so happy with this doctors office. They are very responsive, always genuine with their communication, & treat my family like their own. I see Dr. Kirby and my husband and son see Dr. McCray. They are both phenomenal people. I can't say enough good things over the last several years we've been going there.
