Gym no longer is functional, contacted owners for monthly membership due refund and got ghosted…

I needed to update my review based on current circumstances. I went to the gym after being away for awhile due to an injury. When I went to the gym it was locked up and completely empty, the place was cleared out. No notice on the door, email, etc.. I tried calling, emailing, etc.. The crappy part is that I paid for an annual membership in full. I used to love this gym and sad I'll have to go back to a corporate one.

Two weeks ago I signed up it was an alright gym but unfortunately today when I tired to go in after being out of town a couple of days there was a lock on the door and no equipment inside… Not sure if they moved location or went out of business? I tried to reaching out to manager, but no answer. Does anyone know what happened or has the same issue?

I loved this gym for the past 5 months. Got into a good routine and I’m finally making progress after years of trying. Woke up this morning to an email from them that they’re not renewing their lease and everyone’s membership has been suddenly cut off. ZERO heads up that this was coming. I understand that things happen and running a business can be hard, but to just lock everyone out with no prior warning is a crappy thing to do to people.
