After 5 years with them I was told today that to make a appointment with them is a year out. Dr Wedd said to get my next appointment 6 months out. I have diabetes and need to be check two or three times a year. So this office dose not carry, one out or you could come in at 8:00am. Drive time would be like two to three hours. So I say good bye.

Would you like to be almost entirely awake during your cataract surgery? How would you like your eyes to feel like they are being biopsied? How about a red-hot poker being stabbed into your eyes? When I complained about the pain right after the first procedure, I was told that they were "running low on the Versed." Texas Eye & Laser Center is run like a factory. Expect very long wait times. Once you do see the Doctor, he will spend not more than 5 minutes with you. It’s in and out run them through as fast as possible. Eye surgeries are ganged and they hustle through 15+ surgeries a day. I had both of my eyes done with cornea replacements. One eye did fine. The other they had to do twice and is still blurry 4 months later. In hindsight I would never have gone here.

I asked my PCP if he could recommend a good doctor for laser eye surgery. He spoke highly of Dr. Ranelle and I see why. Great bedside manner. Normally I'd say 10/10 ⭐ highly recommend but after surgery yesterday I'll say 20/20 ⭐ highly recommend 🤓👀
