The “virtual assistant” for phone calls cannot understand a word I say and repeats the same request 6-7 times. I cannot get through to a person and it’s beyond frustrating that the only thing stopping me from being able to ask a question is a robot who can’t understand English. Im in a quiet room, I’m speaking clearly, please PLEASE fix your “virtual assistant”.

This must be the worst office I've ever been to, and I lived in a third world country for years. Poorly organized, the steps to take are not clear, not intuitive at all. For every change of status (even if it's only in the database) you need to re-do your driver license. What a waste of time and money! Also, it's by appointment only but then the appointment time is not respected so what's the point of an appointment? I would give 0 stars if I could.

Today at approximately 1:45 pm, my wife and I were in the 100 block of West Constitution Street in Victoria. We pulled into a parallel parking spot to visit Prosperity Bank. 2 DPS officers and their vehicles were parked 1 space away from us. We are both 83 and I use a walker which my wife has to get out of and into the back of our vehicle. They having a conversation at the rear of their cars but saw us. Went with a community member to see about getting his DL back. Our local DPS has become an appointment only facility, so the waiting room was not as crowded as it used to be. Nice employees and good customer service. * the types of documents needed has been updated. Make sure you have what you need before you go. *

I went to here to get my CLP .The girl in counter number 2 is the best. Outstanding service.She was very knowledgeable and nice. She made the process painless. I cannot express enough how grateful I am for her. She was efficient but very thorough. She was incredibly kind and understanding . She was trying to help me understand the process and procedures made such a difference. Thank you so much .
