Beware! Read this story before engaging them in work. Signed a contract in June of 2018 for construction of a patio cover, a concrete patio and driveway. Approximately $40,000 in work. Contract and bid included Texas Custom Patios obtaining all necessary permits and HOA permissions. Texas Custom Patios is an excellent company, run by caring, expert management. Last year we had a beautiful patio built by them. They did an outstanding job, with expert craftsmanship, quality materials, and excellent project management. Recently our home was burglarized and had a considerable amount of damage. I called Steven at Texas Custom Patios and he sent a crew out as quickly as possible to make repairs to secure my home and repair the damage to the interior of my home. Great sales job - but that is where it ends. Broken promises by coordinator, 2x as long to complete as quoted. Workers were great, coordinator terrible. When Customer Service in their office was called, the response to the inquiry was met with a 'well, we have a lot of projects ongoing, I can't help you with that' - should say a lot. Our project included a covered patio, a kitchen area to house my husband’s Big Green Egg, stamped concrete, a seating wall, and a gas fire-pit. Highly recommend Texas Custom Patios. Everyone we worked with was very professional and the patio cover they built is not only beautiful but also of the highest construction quality. The strong warranty was also another big selling point for us.
